He Mihi- my mihi

In class we have been creating and recording our Mihis for Te Reo Maori. we were working on simple Mihis towards the start of the term, and getting more detailed and personal as the term was coming to an end. my Mihi includes
-an introduction
-my mountain (maunga)
-my river  (awa)
-my town (kainga)
-my tribe (iwi)
-my mother (taku mama)
-my father (taku papa)
-my older brother(taku tungane)
-my older sister(taku tuakana)
-my school(kura)
-myself(au)
-and an ending.
enjoy!

  1. Perfect pronunciation! You spoke clearly and had lots of details about yourself in your mihi. Was the learning of the task focussed on the content of the mihi or the way that you presented it (or both)?
Who did the filming - it was a bit wobbly!
