Room 7 Homework 2016

It is expected that room 7 students are responsible for organising and completing set homework tasks by the due date.  

Writing and Reading - Throughout Term 1 students will be assigned an Article of the Week (AOW) through google classroom. The weekly task requires them to access the documents in google classroom and then read the article and complete the questions in their google drive. To submit their work by the due date they simply go back to google classroom and click 'hand in'.

For an additional task students could visit the following link to create a crossword for their vocab words. They can bring this to class to add to our folder of crosswords and word searches.

Reading – it is the responsibility of each student to ensure they have access to appropriate reading material at home. They need to read to someone for 5 minutes and read to self for 15 minutes every night. This does not need to be recorded. The more you read the better you will get! The more you will learn!

Mathematics - Basic Facts – students need to practice their basic facts regularly. They can access the following links to practice multiplication. Each student has a studyladder account however this will mainly be used at school.
