Room 7's Mt Taranaki camp 2016

This term room 7 got asked by Taranaki kiwi trust team to help them experiment if there were any kiwi on the mountain. We stayed at konini lodge at the Dawson falls visitors centre. We had to walk around in three groups. We walked some tracks up and down steps,over bridges and streams. Ryan's group did the most walking and our leader was Nathan from the Taranaki kiwi trust and he held the speaker that makes the kiwi calls and we could only herd some calls. My highlight was climbing willies pools.
