Welcome to the Room 7 blog!! We are excited to share our learning progress with a wider audience. Our work will be a mixture of unfinished, unpublished and completed tasks. Feedback is welcome in the form of two medals (positive), a mission (constructive next step) and a question. Thanks for taking the time to share in our learning.

How the durable is the equipment that we are using
In Room 7 we are recording male and female kiwi calls. We have recorded data of how many kiwi calls we heard, through windy conditions and rain. Our group is testing the durability of the equipments we are using. We are graphing the amount of kiwi calls we hear from a distance for example 20m - 120m. The wind effected us from hearing the kiwi calls and carried the sound through the air. We all had 20m intervals, 20m-120m. The durability group had trouble on deciding the experiments because we didn't want to break the gear. So we have to find something made of the same materials. So we hung it in a tree with a mat under it so if it fell it would have no damage on it. We have had so much fun.
