Day 1 (Michael)

Day 1

I was supposed to start my homework on Friday but I must have got distracted, so I've started it today (Tuesday). Today I'm doing to  plan my art work
and I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to create it. I'm going to using  different materials and things around the house. For my art work I'm thinking about doing or creating a model digestive system, because it will help other people and me understand the digestive system better. Tomorrow I will start collecting my materials.  I have started drawing the different parts of the digestive system to get a picture in my mind what it will look like.

For my homework I am doing art/project. I am doing a poster. It is going to be of the digestive system, with detailed drawings and words. I am gathering the paper and gear I need. I have googled the digestive system, to get more information and how it processes.  

I have started to plan and think what I need.

Day One: Thought about what I would plant and where I would plant my seeds.

Day Two: Weeded the garden.

And now the garden looks like this:


 Day Three: Planted the peas and carrots, it started to rain so there was no need to water my garden.


Day Four: Now just waiting for the peas and carrots to come up.

i have been a bit slack we got our homework task on friday and i only started today. For my homework project im going to make and create a vege garden to help my family eat the proteins and nutrients they need. Today i started by planning on how its going to look and were its going

So far i have jotted down some ideas for a whole day meal for a healthy,active teenager and a sitting around teenager.For monday i have done weet-bix with almonds and honey.I think it is healthy because weet-bix is full of fibre and
nutricous carbohydrates and almonds are nice nuts it is 40% full of vitimin E and 12% full of fiber and vitimin B.

MONDAYS MEAL:

BREAKFAST:toast with banana and manuka honey
MORNING-TEA:a fruit salad and a glass of milk
LUNCH:a whole grain sandwich and some grapes
AFTERNOON TEA:a healthy fruit and vege smoothie
DINNER:a smoked chicken with a salad witch has lettce,carrot,cheese and mayonaise.

Start to my homework

I'm going to reduce my familys rubbish by putting scaps into a scap bin and cut down on the chip and museli bar packets and bags and lollies packets. We will make our own yogurt and get fresh vegetables out of the garden we go through one of these black finish bags every 1-2 days.

I have been a bit slack we got our homework on Friday and i only started today, here is what i did. I started by doing my healthy meal plan and i also explained what i would change for a highly active teenager and a sedentary teenager

On day 1 I picked a spot for my garden to go. First I took some of the bricks that were very heavy to lift, and to be honest I had a little bit of help with the heavy bricks that I couldn't lift.

Welcome to Room 7 2016

A delayed but warm welcome to Room 7 2016. The year started with a BANG and has continued at a fast pace! We have exciting activities happening in Room 7 which students will start to share. Please visit our updated pages for a brief update. More information and learning to come!

Morning Fitness

In week 5 Miss Boatswain is starting up morning fitness classes to all students that want to. It starts at 8:15am every Monday and Wednesday morning until 8:50am there will be fun games and fitness activities. I joined the morning fitness to learn different ways to do fitness and to have a run around before school. I am just doing it for fun.

Project genius hour

Room seven at Ngaere School have just started their next genius hour project. The class is split into groups of three to plan and design a new lost property set up. To recreate a newer, more stable and balanced lay out. The students get to choose a certain style/model how they would like the new lay out for the new lost property box. It's like a competition because some of the teachers will decide which one they like best and that group will bring it to life by teaming up and making it for the school. They  will work with the schools care taker Bill the builder.
